Pricing & Postage

The following is a guide only, the final price depends upon the size, aspect ratio etc of the photograph of your choice, i.e. the area of the art work. Please email me by clicking here and I'll be happy to give you a firm and final quotation. These prices are in Australian currency and include our Goods & Services Tax, overseas buyers may deduct 9% from this as no Australian GST is payable on international transactions, however overseas Customs Departments usually manage to add their own little bit as it passes through their hands.

Please note these prices are for the photograph only, framing and matting are not generally offered at this stage. Postage, both domestic and international, is charged at cost including the cost of a posting tube. Whilst every care and attention to detail is taken to ensure a safe arrival there are no "handling" charges.

Photographs are delivered in cardboard mailing tubes. Framing isn't normally available outside of Newcastle NSW at this stage. That can often be an advantage since it allows you to sit with your photo framer person and choose your frame and matts, having your photo there with which to make a perfect match.

Please note the digitally added "matt" around the photos shown on this site does NOT come with the photos, it's only there to give you an idea of how the photo could look on your wall at home.

Having stated the above, it will be necessary to frame your photo when you receive it, and so that cost is unavoidable. However, if we were to do it for you then, to assure a safe arrival, acrylic glazing would have to be used instead of glass (and is considerably more expensive) and the finished product would need to be encased in protective material inside a custom made wooden box. These two factors would, depending upon size, add around AU$200 - AU$450 to the cost of the frame and matting, plus the higher cost of shipping. If you feel this additional cost would be justified by you receiving a finished product then we would be pleased to discuss it further with you.

It's always a legitimate concern when choosing photographs from a photographer's site, or any art work for that matter, as to whether it will be as you expected when it arrives. Secure in the knowledge that quality photographs always present infinitely better in reality than on a computer monitor we offer this assurance: If you are in any way disappointed with your purchase then simply return it and, provided it's in the same condition in which it left us, we will refund you the full purchase price.

With each photograph its approximate aspect ratio will be given, e.g. 1:3 (example only) means that for every increment of height, that photo is three increments long. i.e. if it's 150mm or 6" high then it will be 450mm or 18" long. This enables you to estimate the finished length of a particular height or the height of any length. Once you've decided upon a suitable size for your needs you can compare it to the list below to get a "ball park" price. Photos can be produced at just about any size required but remember that, due to the various processes that go into its production, a finished photo can (and does) vary slightly from the nominated size. There will of course also be an overlap of the medium upon which it's produced. So don't make your frame until you receive your photograph. Aspect ratios are always height x width.
